Gun Inventory

That's right, minions. I'm back!

I spent the whole AM photo-inventorying my guns.

If you haven't already done so, think about taking a detailed inventory with photos and serial numbers and storing it in a safe place. Thumb drive at the office, protected Photobucket folder, etc.

It's better to have it an never need it that it is to need it and not have it.

She still looks pretty good after 5 seasons ;)

Welcome back tucker301! Will that thing shoot without a malfunction :p I think i see a small spot of rust starting:D

I have picked up so many new toys i had to raise the amount of insurance my guns were insured for cause the policy was not enough coverage for what i own! it only cost a little more and where i live it's wise to have MORE! So who wants to take their turn on reporting the post above tuckers? Good Luck! HEHE (Hey i think you have to look at this) post!!

Here's a little project I just finished.

It's my Savage 10ML-II Muzzleloader. I didn't like the factory laminated stock, and I had this B&C Duramaxx leftover from an upgrade on my varmint rifle.

A little bit of Dremel work, a little bit of milling, and a little bit of Devcon.....

Here's a current working project.

Picking up pieces here and there as I go along.

Rail handguards, ERGO grip, and optics are still inbound.

I haven't worked the trigger yet. Maybe this weekend.

I thought you had lost all interest in ARs?

Hey tucker have you ever had issue with your Browning magazine as far as it not feeding soft points? I have a 2003, 300WSM BAR Stalker and they replaced my magazine from service department because of a defect in the spring follower at no charge. The soft points was only round that would not feed! Since replacement i have had NO problems with this rifle! NICE GUN PORN! :p

Hmmmm. It did hang once or twice with me, but it was nothing I could pinpoint.

What do I look for... other than it not feeding properly?

Thanks for the tip!

The rifle just refused to cycle the first soft point round in the magazine it would try to feed it but would flatten the tip just below the chamber prior to going into barrel? I called Browning and complained but they blew me off for about 5 months then i called them one day and they said BTW we had problems with the magazines and would replace it free & i talked them into giving me an extra for free since i wasted a lotta soft points trying to get the rifle to shoot them, it is all internal and they will replace them for free! I have since stock piled 40 rounds of 180 G Fail Safe Hollow Points for it which they do not make anymore. i have also decided to pattern the Federal Vital Shock Barnes TSX rounds in almost all my rifles with great results! My Weatherby 257 Sub MOA is doing 3/8" MOA with the Weatherby 100 G Barnes TSX and hitting silhouetes at 500+ yds is really easy and my 243 & my 300WSM will be next to try the Barnes TSX rounds!
