How to get Benelli Options ???????

.

I am new to these forums. I am guessing that someone

from Benelli checks these forums from time to time.

My first Benelli was a SBE that I won at a DU Event.

I shot it for 2 years, then sold it to a friend who begged

me for it. He is a big DU fan and wanted the DU SBE.

After several years I decided to go back to a Benelli.

I just purchased a SuperSport and a SBE II.

I am very pleased with these guns.

I called Benelli Customer Service to find out how I can

purchase the optional ComforTech gel pad; the short

pad, 14" L.O.P. that is shown on the web site.

I was told I had to purchase the Benelli optional short

gel pad from Mann & Son Sporting Goods in IL.

Mann & Son told me it could be 6 months.

Is this correct ???????

You think some one could look in their desk draw and

send my a ComforTech gel pad ????

Regards,

Hi Chester,

Welcome to the wonderful world of trying to buy Benelli accessories.

Brownells usually has parts when they become available - I bet their backorder is 6 months too.

They will be available when they are available!

I doubt you will find any on e-bay yet as I don't think any stock gun came with the 14" lop.

Thanks for the nice jabs you took about us Benelli guys over on the Refuge! I will say that at least here you hear from folks who acutally own the guns they are discussing!

dbo, thanks, but I already have the 14-3/8" LOP.

mudhen, you will have to refresh my memory about

taking jabs at Benelli owners. I would not be looking for

a ComforTech gel pad unless I owned a Benelli ( or 2 ).

Unless you are referring to me saying I thought the

complaints I read here about the stiff release buttons

and "aggressive" checkering were unfounded.

That was just my opinion.

I should have said www.benelliusa.com forum guys!

Quoting Chester:

"First thing I noticed was the Benelli Forums have just as many pot-stirrers and complainers as The Refuge. hehehehehe Those moderators have their hands full."

The big issue here for me is that these guys here actually own Benellis.

On the Refuge, I hear a lot of "my buddys SBE jams" or "my Mossy 935 outperformed all the guys in the group", etc.

Here we generally talk about our own Benelli guns, good or bad.

The Refuge is great for general info. This forum tends to be more specific.

I certainly hope being a Benelli owner and participating

in these forums does not mean I have to check my

sense of humor at the door.

The Refuge forums have a lot of YOUNG members

these days, who want nothing more than to contribute.

Whether it be first hand experience or news from a

friend, it is always welcomed. Our youth are the future

of our sport, targets or ducks, no difference.

Tell them to shut-up, you may lose them forever.

Hi I have 2 Supersports and have been trying for 6 months to get short pad from dealer who is still waiting. Called benelli and they said (American office) that they are not yet in the USA and they have no idea when they are due to arrive. First you could not get the gun 7 month wait, then you can't get parts....I wonder who runs their manufacturing scd'l
