Gray areas and vague laws suck, but when do their clarification ever go in our favor? Almost never. Stop. And at least start using common sense, and think how they would think. (made up example: No, changing the inertia spring in your bolt isn't going to make it count as a US made bolt. Why would you even entertain the idea?)
