Guest McDaddy Posted September 8, 2009 Share Posted September 8, 2009 I haven't used one of these, but my buddy has one so I called him up. He said it threads on the end of the stock bolt. There is a nut at the end before the shim that comes off and the reducer threads on in place of that nut. I know it's not exactly what you need but maybe this helps. My concern is the weight. If you are shooting clays, etc. then I would not hesitate, but in the field that extra 3/4 pound of weight is not fun. Put on a Limbsaver or Pachmyer Decelerator pad for field help. Good Luck!
