Super Nova Rifle Slug Help!

Recommended Posts

I have a brand new super nova rifled slug with a 2-7 nikon prostaff scope, weaver medium rings and weaver 93a base, green loktight.

I was at the range today trying to sight it in. On the 3rd shot, the scope poped off from the top of the gun. The 4 screws from the base just pulled out the top of the gun.

I guess the screws were not long enough?? The weaver base package was factory sealed when I bought it. The screw holes on the top of the gun from what I can see may be damaged? Should I have a gunsmith try longer screws if possable or see if benelli says its under warranty.

You can try Benelli but I don't think they will warranty it. Plus if they did warranty it, you will lose it for about 3 month<.>

A gunsmith will be able to retap and install the rail very easily and you will get it back for deer season with plenty of time to spare.
