jed1894
Just noticed that my bolt release button leans to the side when the bolt is locked back (like when empty). It is straight and square when forward, but cocked to the side (toward butt of gun) when the bolt is locked back. Can you guys with M2s check yours to see if looks the same or not? Thanks in advance,,,,,jed
tactical1
You are fine - if you can find an exploded view of the mechanism, I think you'll see there is a roll pin that is the fulcrum point of the mechanism - as the release button is in the lock position, it will seem 'twisted' - sort of like a teeter totter which is giving visual of it being off center

cody6.0
The bolt release is kinda like a see saw so when it is in or out the angle of the button will change. So in short like the others ahve said yours is just fine.
