slider76
After having the gun on layaway for longer that I would've liked, it's finally home. Kip's tube is on and a follower from Brownell's is in. Apart from that, it's stock. I don't plan on putting an optic on until I've shot it a lot just with the iron sights. Next question: is the only other U.S. made part currently available the foregrip from Surefire? Anything else that would improve the functionality of the weapon and bring me under the magic number re: 922 ®?
Stompy
Mesa Tactical is making a new tactical stock with a shorter LOP next year, and also a skeletonized stock with an adjustable cheek piece for using optics. Both are made in the USA for 922r.

I checked their web site and found only Benelli followers. Thans

Hey SKYKING, Assuming that you do not have a collapsable stock on your M4 you'll want to get a US made forend as your 3rd part. The current choices are the KZ and the Surefire M80. As mentioned above, if you want to wait for a few months, you could use the upcoming Mesa Urbino stock as your 3rd part. pic of new Mesa stock is in post # 34 of this thread http://www.mesatactical.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=722&p=2 Here's some stuff I posted previously about both the Surefire and the KZ: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19942&highlight=surefire+m80 http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19590&highlight=surefire+m80 The pics for the KZ review start on page 3 of the thread Merry Christmas! Where did that come from? Skyking. That's the Sidearmor rail system http://www.sidearmor.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=7&products_id=46&zenid=k9l930vjib8qh0u78t5rpm7i46 Looks like they're on sale right now too! There's a lot of info about the system in old threads. Just put in Sidearmor as a site search Here's a few: http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19212&highlight=Sidearmor http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19550&highlight=Sidearmor http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=19419&highlight=Sidearmor Later, Hookster Edited December 26, 2009 by Hookster added links
SKYKING44
Hookster, after further review and study, I see the top rail is a KZ, Right? When you ordered it, it must have been pre drilled for the specific application, M4 benelli/kZ grip because there is not hole at the T14 mark. How do I order the KZ top rail for use with the Surefire grip? Is that what you ended up with? thanks.

The Sidearmor rail is the one I believe you are refering too. That's the one I currently use. Take a look at post #10 and see if I'm answering your question. If you are talking about the KZ let me know and I'll try to answer your questions about it. Here's the source for the KZ if that's the one you want: http://www.botachtactical.com/kzm4.html But the KZ and the Surefire you ordered could not be used together at the same time Take Care, Hookster Edited December 26, 2009 by Hookster
