Supernova with a Collapsible Stock?????

From my understading its only available in Europe. I once saw a guy from Italy on this forum with one.

I would buy one. I was wondering if the stock is interchangeable with the m2,m4.

but I guess it is kind of a moot point if it is only available in Europe. I wonder if

Benelli would ever consider shipping therm over here.

When I purchased my Nova H2O some years back. It took me several months

to find a Nickel Mag Ext from a Benelli dealer. I am under the impression that pump

shotguns don't fall under the 922r . So would the Collapsible stock make a difference?

Hi,

These stock are available in the USA on Gunbroker, you will pay $400.00 to $450.00 for them.

Greg

Or......you can just buy them in Canada. (the whole gun, that is). I bought mine with a 14" barrel and collapsible stock. I have since sold it to a northern bush pilot, though. To be honest, I had traded my collapsible buttstock for a Comfortech stock. (and since bought a 28" Max-4)

Look up Al Simmons in Hamilton, or Al Flaherty's in Toronto. Both sell them. I believe they are illegal on several counts in the USA. In Canada I walked in, paid, and walked out with my SNT14....easy!

Maybe Stoeger/Beretta/Benelli in Whitby, Ontario can sell you the CS by itself. Good luck

I can't be too full of sh!t. The proof is in the pictures. And it was not difficult to figure it out. The hardest part was being willing to shell out the $117 to take the chance. Just saying.

Ok Carl. I see the pictures and that tells me nothing.

So what's the mod Carl since you won't respond to a pm or email? You are obviously posting these pictures because you want people to know so let's hear it.

How did you get it to fit?

To start with, the Stoeger and Benelli are very similar in shape at the end of the reciever, with the biggest difference being the shape of the trigger guard. And that difference is not much at all. Listen, we all know that the "recoil spring rod" is a dummy rod, so you remove it from the reciever and your left with a hole about .300 deep in the reciever that is threaded. Now I emailed bennelli support and asked what size the thread was, but I recieved no response. After measuring and counting threads, it comes out to M21x1. So I made a threaded aluminum plug about .290 long with a threaded hole in the center to match the flathead bolt that is supplied with the ATI stock. bolt that is supplied is M12x1., not M8x1.25 as is stated in the installation instructions. Now the only other issue is the trigger guard. The pistol grip fits around the trigger guard, there's just not quite enough clearance depthwise. Break out the Dremel and clear it out a little deeper (if you do get this stock, as soon as you try to fit it you will see what I mean, IT'S NOT THAT COMPLICATATED. The mounting adapter sticks out a tad around the reciever, nothing a belt sander or dremel sanding drum can't alleviate. This adapter is what is called " hardcoated", but the hardcoat is not that thick. That being done, I taped off the reciever side and the stock side of the adapter and spayed it with Duplicoler spray bedliner to cover the areas where I sanded and also to make it more wear and chip resistant. Finally, I cut out a thin piece of rubber the same shape as the end of the reciever. this goes between the adapter and the reciever to increase the fit and maybe absorb a little recoil. THIS IS WHAT I DID, you dont HAVE to do it this way, once you see it you will see that there are other possibilities.
