selection help wanted

I am a right handed shooter who has limited use of my left arm. I cannot support a raised long gun for more than a couple of seconds. Consequently I am limited to light shotguns.

I am contemplating a .20 gauge Ultralight for upland hunting, but I also want to be able to do some Turkey hunting with it.

Feedback wanted:

Is a .20 just too light for Turkey?

Is there a Turkey choke for the .20 Ultralight?

Can the Ultralight be fitted with a pistol grip?

Is there an alternative out there, in any configuration?

Any other ideas?

thanks

20 gauge is fine for turkey. ( The UL will kick like a mule w/ turkey loads)

Yes, any crio choke will fit in the Ultralight

No, I'm pretty sure the pistol grip is out.

Any of the 20 gauges are pretty light. Nova,m2, and monty are around 6.5lbs. Save you some $$ to..

If you feel that you can handle a 20 ga. you can be an effective turkey hunter without doubt.

Not knowing the extent of your limitations , its hard to advise, but as for input whether a 20 ga can be used, the answer is most defintely. Look at federal premium, #7 heavyweight. now in a 20 ga .

It will kill any turkey within 30 yrds and be effective out to 40 yrds.
