OhioM4
If the cardboard box is dented in one corner, don't worry...that's from when it "fell off the truck". Be careful and CYA. To me this smacks of "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is." I do sincerely wish you luck and have my fingers crossed that it works out for you. For the love of God...PLEASE KEEP US POSTED.

MTReaper
MTReaper, those small symbols on the barrel from left to right read: 18.3 PSF CC and the receiver says ? PSF CC 18.3 PSF is the barrel length? and PSF CC stands for? i know CC stands for the model year, like yours in a 2008, mine should be CD. Oh and my question about some have the m4 mark and some don't? Is that a big deal? No m4 markhttp://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/b/b5/Shotgun_in_training_US_military.jpg m4 Markhttp://ee.ar15.com/uploadImages/20090615/138146/Uploaded_633806839793222500_File.JPG So what markings should be on my Benelli M4 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. etc? CCWinDC?
The Italian government requires that all firearms be stamped with a proof code. The code indicates the year of manufacture. This chart shows the relevant codes and the corresponding year in which it was made. Just be sure that they are getting you a Benelli M4 and not an AR15 variant. I assume this is applicable to the m2 as well. Where exactly on the gun is this stamp located?
Hookster
I assume this is applicable to the m2 as well. Where exactly on the gun is this stamp located? The letters are in a small square on the bottom of the receiver near the front of the trigger guard. Hookster
