Thinking about getting a SBE II

I'm looking at getting a SBE II but I have a few questions before I pull the trigger. While talking to the gunsmith that works at the store I was planning on buying it at he told me that I would have to break the shotgun in with at least 200 3 1/2 in rds before it would cycle light loads properly. The second questions was if there is a way to put a limb saver pad on the gun. I have just recently had shoulder surgery and any extra comfort there would help. Thanks

Limbsaver makes a pad specifically for the SBEII.

The gun should be broken in, but I don't think it will take 200 rounds of 3.5" to do it.

More like two or three boxes of heavy field loads.

Stay within the recommended load guidelines and you'll have no trouble at all.

All of the above. Plus make sure you keep it clean and oiled. Especially the bolt rails. You don't need to go nuts. a light coating of good oil is all that is needed. Good luck...
