truckcop 10 Posted February 27, 2010 I just purchased a used in the box like new sbe 1.is the elcheapo rod with the elcheapo washer under the forearm nut seriously the mag plug? Yes it is. There was a guy that used to make aftermarket one-piece plugs out of aluminum bar-stock. He sold them on ebay, gunbroker, etc., but I don't know if he still does. I got mine 9 - 10 years ago. Original SBE/Aftermarket Version - you can probably guess which is which:

TysonJ 0 Posted August 23 (edited) I just bought this plug for my SBE1 after searching for several years. It needs to be cut down. Does anyone know the correct length for two 2-3/4” shells? Also does the guy above still make the aftermarket plugs? Edited August 23 by TysonJ
Milspec 5 Posted August 25 I know the plug limits capacity. What is the main purpose? Hunting regulations?
Steve Rose 23 Posted August 25 8 minutes ago, Milspec said: I know the plug limits capacity. What is the main purpose? Hunting regulations? Yes, many hunting regulations in the USA, especially for migratory birds/waterfowl, limit shotgun capacity to 3 rounds total.
