xamoel
hello folks, i'm thinking about adding a +2 extension to my full length tube, and was wondering which one to get. benelli make one themselves, as well as nordic components i think, and some others. which one have you owned/tried out that works best with the M4? best regards xamoel PS: i just received my sidearmor, it has quite some scratches on it. any idea how to get rid of them? texas skeeter
Hey Camel, im not sure about the scratches, but HK on this site has a bunch of Benelli OEM 2 rd ext tubes for sale on www.gunbroker.com for 159$. and they match perfect not to mention its a great price. or just send him a P.M. good luck
xamoel
i do consider going with OEM on this one, but nordic makes one for 80$ i think. and btw the OEM ones don't match the m4 color it all.

OhioM4
I wonder how long of an extension tube you can add before you are in danger of shooting the end of it off with the pattern spread?
xamoel
a +2 adds about 6 inches, but the trulock tactical choke will help a bit. good question though!
texas skeeter
and btw the OEM ones don't match the m4 color it all. are you sure about that???
xamoel
yes, see the following pic, it IS a OEM benelli +2 extension for M4s and novas.
texas skeeter
that is NOT the correct OEM 2 rd ext for the M4. this one below is!!
texas skeeter
and from your pic above, your gun already has a full length tube and you've added ANOTHER 2 rd ext tube beyond that!!
xamoel
thats not mine. but that's what i'm thinking about, yes. €: now i see, the black extension tube from my pic is an extension for a nova, but works on the m4 as well. yours is probably the real deal for the m4, yet i'm not sure if it works with my full length tube. texas skeeter
Damn CAMEL, how many rounds ya want hanging off the end of your M4?? ya actually got that many Zombies running around your neighborhood??
LeoAtrox
Looks like he's doing competition based on those shell holders. The fewer reloads you have to do in competition, the faster your time is going to be.
xamoel
yeah, that is the m4 of someone doing competition, though not mine. it was just a thought, having 2 extra rounds seems nice, if it doesn't decrease reliability.
12508
Freedom Fighter Tactical. Good color match. Don't need to remove it to remove the barrel. Better than DMW, Tacstar and Surecycle, all of which I've had. http://www.freedomfightertactical.com/order.php
NEWGUNNER
yes, see the following pic, it is a oem benelli +2 extension for m4s and novas. sweet set up
xamoel
the FFF looks nice, but i assume it's intended for use on the shortened (US version) mag tubes, not on full length tubes. too bad.
taylaboy
So, is it pretty normal for folks to put a +2 extension on a full length? I cant see those pictures for some reason and was just curious how that would feel shooting. Is it awkward at all ? Is it dangerous to have something sticking out below ahead of the muzzle?
xamoel
well it is quite useful for matches, less reloading, like LeoAtrox stated already. i haven't done it yet, but i'm surely thinking about it. with a tactical choke attached i think it's not dangerous. sorry can't tell you how it shoots yet, as i haven't bought one (yet). but as it costs only 63euros, which is maybe 75$, i'll get one soon i guess. ivox
...a bunch of Benelli OEM 2 rd ext tubes for sale on www.gunbroker.com for 159$. Do you need to purchase a new spring in addition to the OEM 2 Round Extension? All other +2 aftermarket extensions out there appear to come with a new spring. Thanks for the help...
