rufrturbo
I have just purchased an M2, and am new to the changeable chokes. I am using Remington 2 3/4 12 ga # 7 1/2 shot loads for doves but dont really know what choke to use. Is there a general guide or rule of thumb? Any input would be greatly appreciated. shotgun samuri
rufrturbo, I own a new left-handed m2- purchased 1 month ago- and have enjoyed it in the dove field. I use my improved cylinder choke for close- in shooting(20-30yds) and my modified or improved modified choke for surer kills at longer distances. good luck! birddog
good advice thus far .. but, you may want to pattern your load/choke combos on paper so you know whats happening out there at point of impact.
