I am thinking paint of somekind... can someone confirm? Also, what would be the best way to remove it if I wanted to have the receiver anodized. (I originally wanted to buy a camouflage kit to paint it) It turns out that the M2 Field is indeed painted... a powder coat - probably baked on.
