MarkT
What do people recommend for the initial couple of hundred rounds through a brand new Benelli M1 ? I need to shoot it on an indoor range so it will have to be buck of some sort.
Duke of Lawnchair
Mark, Something heavy. You do not need to use 3" magnums. 2-3/4" will do just fine. Buck, hi-vel birdshot, etc. are all good for initial break-in. I used Sellier & Bellot 2-3/4" 00buck for my M1's official launch into the world. Purchased 250 and rallied through all 250 on it's debut. Run it hard, it's a thoroughbred shotgun. -Jim
