mosley128 Posted May 31, 2010 Share Posted May 31, 2010 First off, I apologize if this thread has been done to death I did a quick forum seach and wasn't able to find all the info I needed so I thought I'd just post a new topic. I'm looking to convert my 11707 from the fixed to a collapsible stock. First off, is this difficult? Once I actually purchase the stock, will I need a gunsmith or is it fairly easy for the 11707? Are there reputable retailers out there who sell it? I would prefer to purchase it from a retailer instead of an individual seller. Also, completely off topic, but my instruction manual says I have a "4+1" tube for my M4, but I was easily able to fit 5 shells in the tube, and think I could possibly fit 6. Is this normal? Thanks Just dissassemble the shotgun and take the trigger group out of the receiver. Then, just rotate the stock to the left and thread it off of the receiver. 1811 Posted June 1, 2010 Share Posted June 1, 2010 UPDATE: I decided to take on the task of removing the fixed and installing the c-stock. SUCCESS! It's an easier task then I thought! Replacing trigger group was a little tough. I had to make sure pistol grip was aligned and to press on the bolt release...slides right in.
