lomac9
Can anyone tell me the best choke tube for the nova model other than the stock full choke? We do a lot of deer running w/ dogs and the stock full choke just isnt tight enough. my buddies are using the Kicks buckkicker and sware by it in different model shotguns just wasnt sure if any benelli owners have used the particular choke or could possible suggest one . new to this forum and would appreciate any help thank you
tucker301
I wouldn't shoot buckshot through a tight choke. Larger shot tend to scatter when compressed too tightly through a smaller choke. Have you tried the factory IC choke?
lomac9
thanks for the help tucker. no i havent tried the the factory IC choke but will give it a try. The Kicks Buckkicker is made for lead shot only (buckshot tested i believe w/ 00)and is .650. I wasnt sure if anyone was familiar w/ this brand used on benelli or could suggest another. Theres just alot of tight shootin areas quick crossings and really thick areas. thanks again for the help

THEOZZ
Look at Pattern Master choke Tubes they are made for 00 Buck and hold a very tight pattern. I have one I use for turkey and it works great. You can find them through Cabela's or possibly one of the other big sporting goods catalogs Cabela's Link [ 09-05-2006, 12:30 PM: Message edited by: THEOZZ ]
