I was going to pick up the Mesa Tactical Rail / Shell holder for my M2 Tactical but just noticed that the receiver is not tapped for M4 bolts. When did they start tapping receivers? Fastlane Posted August 22, 2010 Share Posted August 22, 2010 Does your M2 have the rifle sights? They didn't drill and tap those, probably because any kind of rail would block the sights. I got a Burris SpeedBead for a red dot and the MT Sureshell holder that carries six without the rail.
