bigkuntry72
picked up a used mossberg 500 for almost nothin as a spare gun. it works flawlessly but the exterior has seen better days. im thinkin of pickin up the hogue max-4 butt stock and fore end and painting the exterior metal flat black. my question is can i just use a high temp engine enamel for car engines or is hat not a good idea? tucker301
You don't need hi-temp enamel for it. Most use Krylon, but if you want something more durable take a look at http://www.duracoat-firearm-finishes.com/
RUDEDAWG
I have a max 4 stock and forend and also a blued barrell for your mossberg. Let me know if your interested. Was planning on using the gun for a spare just like yourself, but ended up turning the 500 into a home defense gun.
