What Coating does Benelli Use?

The camo finish is a printed film which is applied in a water transfer process called hydrographic or water transfer printing.

A primer is applied to improve adhesion and a top clear coat is applied to improve durability.

There are a number of companies that do it, but the process is essentially the same with all of them.

You can even get a DIY kit and try your hand at it.

I was told once what coating is used for the lightest shade base coat, and I only recall that it is an obscure European brand. Then the printed film goes on top of that as mentioned.
