KB Fab
Finally got around to taking some shots of Kip's new muzzle brake/choke set-up on my M4. As with everything else, the quality of these parts are superb. Haven't had a chance to shoot with them yet but hopefully soon. Until then, enjoy. First two are with the extended choke installed and the second is with the external thread protector.

uscm
I actually quite like the look of the extended choke installed with the external thread protector. Can we get a full shot of the M4 with it setup like that?
StrangerDanger
Lot bigger than I realized. Looks heavy too? Maybe 6 - 8 ounces?
saym14
why is it necessary ? why is the extra OAL a bonus ?
Guest cleefurd
Lot bigger than I realized. Looks heavy too? Maybe 6 - 8 ounces? A steel one would weigh about that, 2-1/2 oz (2.56oz. to be exact) for this aluminum OEM style version.
Guest cleefurd
why is it necessary ? why is the extra OAL a bonus ? The only advantage to longer brakes is increased dwell time (milliseconds) for gas diversion. Longer choke tubes seem to pattern closer to expectations due to less abrupt constriction dynamics which tends to deform the charge less.
