I heAr what your saying about height - surely there is custom work - but blind as to how to proceed - meager tools for work - would have to be pretty simple - probably sling cut down and motified to just use to carry 12 inches or so - maybe less - just for carry not for shoulder and not for cinching to shoot. but how to keep out of the way when running the thing. - thanks for link. Just have it folded over to the left side of the receiver. It'll probably still get in the way of irons, but this is the first thing that came to my mind ...
