Super33
They will all kill a dove. But since, of the 3 choices there, I like the M4 the most I'm gonna have to roll with the M4.
Mike Dunne
I think the M4 is out as I am flying back through Miami, and I will have an M4 for hogs, a sig 45 for just because and the shotgun
KD6QZX
My M4 has taken quite a quota of QUAIL in Arizona but I have never tried Dove..... only down side for me is quail hunting is A-LOT of running after those little buggers and the 8 lb gun gets heavey by the end of a 105 degree hunting day.!!!! crofton
My M4 has taken quite a quota of QUAIL in Arizona but I have never tried Dove..... only down side for me is quail hunting is A-LOT of running after those little buggers and the 8 lb gun gets heavey by the end of a 105 degree hunting day.!!!! Question on Quail hunting in your neck of the woods: Here in Md and the majority of the eastern states that I have hunted in, using magazine greater than 3 rounds for upland game would require a plug. Are you using a magazine greater than three rounds and if so, are you required to have a plug? Maryland Shotgun Regulation: Shotguns may be used to hunt forest and upland game, coyotes, fishers, foxes, nutria, opossums, raccoons, skunks, woodchucks and migratory game birds, with the restriction that the magazine and chamber must be capable of holding no more than 3 shells total except for resident Canada geese during the September season, light geese when prescribed in annual hunting regulations, or deer hunting (where the number of shells is restricted to 8).
