Raptor1
Hi All, My wife and I love sporting clays and enjoy the sport all was well with her 870 untill I got my SS. The 12 ga. is a little heavy for her and asked if I could finf her one in 20 GA. Let me know if anyone has one laying around that wants to find a home for it: Regards, Raptor1

BigHat
Great story about the 870 airing on Gun Stories. A comment was made that over 80% of all shotguns ever made are 12ga. Why? The perfect combo of recoil and performance. Forgive me if you're no longer thinking about this and have made up your mind. Perfectly understandable that the recoil of the 870 may be too much for your wife, but why don't you let her try a SuperSport in 12ga? The felt recoil will probably be 60% that of the 870 or O/U gun with the ComforTech stock and she'll still break targets at the 12 ga level.
