I've "heard" about issues surrounding parts availabilty of various manufacturers, but usually more disinformation will be negative than positive (unless coming from an interested or invested party of course) naturally one confirmed negative will outweigh a positive, but this is only a given. (how many "that a boy's" does it take to counter a "you ^&*$%#!!!"?) perhaps it'll be best for me to do some undercover detective work off line to determine this. now THAT will be fishing. oops, forgot the term was trolling. meh, there's an association in there somewhere.
