ncp04 Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 I know that the M1014 gets the magazine extension as standard, but is it detachable like it is on the civilian version? Also, I've heard that it can fire both 3 inch and 2.75 inch shells. Can it fire off a magazine containing both 2.75 inch and 3 inch shells without requiring the operator to make any adjustments? LeoAtrox Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 I cannot speak on the model M1014 regarding the actual magazine configuration; but if it uses an extension, it will screw off the magazine tube just the same as the M4 Tactical's dummy magazine extension. The M4 Tactical and M1014 use the same magazines. As for mixed 2.75 and 3-inch shells, yes. No adjustment is needed. I haven't run mixed shells, but it should work fine.
