Replacing a mag tube on an M1S90 is a job for the factory or EXPERIENCED Benelli gunsmith, as there is a possibility of damaging the tube and or receiver (at least that's what we were told at the armorer's class). I believe that the same is true for the M1014, although when I took the class in January of 2003 the 1014 was brand new and the instructor didn't have any "hands on" experience with them. 1988RRC
is there a mechanical / technical reason not to remove the "red" limiter in the mag tube?
