sierranevadaca Posted May 10, 2012 Share Posted May 10, 2012 I just bought a used benelli r1 in .308. It came in its case disassembled. I read the instructions how to assemble it. Once I got it set up I cocked the bolt assembly and then I tried to release it but it got stuck. It won't release the bolt assembly. The only way it will release it if I pull the bolt assembly back and then push the release. I already disassemble and assembled a couple of times. Don't know what the problem could be.
