willhuntforfood
I just recently purchased a nova for over $500 plus tax. Gitty with excitement, I rush to the range after 10 hours of work to shoot it for the first time today in anticipation for the Sept 1 goose opener. I shoot 8 shells out of this gun and then reload for another shot. When i take off the safety and pull the trigger, the trigger creeps back but the firing pin does nothing. After loading and reloading, cycling the action, and trying to figure out what the heck is going on, the trigger still does nothing. Fuming, I come back home and play with it some more and it finally starts working with the occasional same problem. I expected more from this highly touted company. I should have stuck with my cheap Mossberg 500 that I've used and abused for 12 years in the marshes, uplands and deer woods because that gun is still clicking away like a clock today, only its in someone elses hands while i'm stuck with this $500 piece of garbage. I will never buy benelli again. I guess I have to send it back and miss the Sept goose season. I hope I don't miss the October duck opener as well...........
benelliwerkes
Are you sure you got all the parts for $500 ?
Boom Boom Boom
Thats odd for a Benelli to have issues right out of the box. I almost wonder if someone (maybe at the dealer) fiddled with it somehow. Call Benelli's customer service. I hear nothing but great things from people who have dealt with them, should be a piece of cake--they stand behind thier products.
