Shooting My Modified M4 Benelli Super 90

Recommended Posts

Even a thin rubber washer might fix it. The rubber might supply enough bite between the stock and the fastener that it won't back out during the shock of recoil. I'm not sure what the mounting surface looks like inside the Mesa Stock. I never disassembled it when I handled it.

I might give that a try, thanks.

The collapsible stock has a distinct look. I like to be able to collapse it fully when I have it cinched to my hike pack.
Amsdorf you see? Look at mine and love it:) These pics will be available just for a moment. Edited by jaegerbataillon511

This backpack is made for weaponcarry, and I used duct tape to shorten the carryhose to match the short barrel.

You can fold up and zip in the weaponcarry hose when not in use. It fits most longarms.

This is a much larger military backpack with two big unzip able sidepockets, where you can stuff in your longarm with muzzle up and buttstock in a small pocket.

This is a concept creation I've been working on. Barrel chopped to 12.5".

beauty. The light sticking out kinda bugs my ocd but still very cool.

problem is the scabbard is a lil to big and I am a pretty big guy (muscles not fat) and it wont fit me. but the idea is close.

Ok, but this norrona recon backpack has adjustable harness and can also be adjusted in length by its aluminium frame. I have this backpack as well, and I can carry a tent, sleeping bag, food, stove, fuel, clothing and more with my Benelli in it.

A scabbard will only carry a weapon.

Think of the light as a stand off device. :)

Or you could go with a M300 and it would be flush. A new Magpul 1 point sling would be a better choice though. The standard 14" would work well too.

How does that work with the light extending past the barrel? And, dumb question, but...what is the advantage of a short barrel like that?

Short barrel shotguns are best suited for those who have at least some degree of fire control discipline since the magazine only holds four(?) rounds.

lol true.

But for us normal guys. It is just cool factor only. we are not blowing hinges off doors or clearing room with a team. But we can def be cool at the range, lol hate to admit it but thats me I just like cool stuff.

Lower weight. Faster target acquisition. Much more effective in tight areas. Better weapon retention. More effective for breaching operations.

I use a 2 point sling. I have a padded VCAS sling. A 2 point sling swings a lot less. I find most 1 point slings swing like a pendulum of pain and rack your knees. They're great if you have hands on the weapon. Once you let go of it, and push it behind your pistol or drop it down your off side, it just swings wildly.

I do want to try one of the Magpul MS3 slings so I can have the best of both worlds.

Thanks, appreciate the information. I'm still trying to decide on what sling I want to use on my M4. I'll have to check out the Magpul MS3.
