fishmax2 Posted April 19, 2004 Share Posted April 19, 2004 I went out to the lake today to check trot lines and to see if there were any turkeys around. On my way to the lines on public property I saw a flock of turkeys with a good one struting around. I pulled over, parked. I was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a fishing t-shirt (white) a ball cap and sandals, I sprint into the tree row. There was 50 mph wind, so they had no idea I was running at them like a banshee. I got there, popped out of trees with the nova with undertaker, and 3.5" 2 oz of #4 in the chamber. They all took off running, I shot once and dropped the tom and a jake, filling my 2 tags.
