bird dog
Need some help. I have an 12 ga M2 that is about 2 years old. I was goose hunting yesterday and the shotgun fired off the round that was in the chamber as I was putting another shell into the magazine. Not sure if I did something wrong during the reloading process or if something is actually wrong with the gun. I didn't have another issue after that and the gun performed well all morning. I was wondering if anyone else on here has had the same problem? Thanks
Creeper
Nope, never encountered that with an M2. As we already know you had the safety off, did you inadvertently have your finger on the trigger at the time it AD'd... or had you fingered the trigger at all prior to it AD'ing? bird dog
Im right handed and when I reload I always hold the shotgun around the forearm with my left hand and load the shotgun with my right hand. Fingers were nowhere near the trigger. As soon as I put the first shell in the magazine tube it fired. So, I'm not sure what exactly happened. The first thing I thought was the firing pin had broke. I will be calling Benelli first thing tomorrow. Thanks
