Groundhog
Anyone out there have a holosite on your SBE? Do you like it? What kind of mount do you use? Is there a mount that can be used on the rib??
bigdave442
I too am thinking of using a Bushnell Red Dot Holo Sight for Turkey hunting. Anyone out there have this kind of setup? And if so, how is it working. Is it ok on bright sunny days? Thanks for the help in advance with this!

bigdave442
I have the Holosight mounted and sighted in. I am really happy with it. The brightness ajustment works fine with a very wide range of control. The sight seems to be very well made, and very rugged.I had no trouble sighting it in. The one downside to this setup is that the sight sits a little high on the receiver. It forces you to lift your cheek off the stock. The stock lines up somewhere halfway down along my jaw. This should not be a problem Turkey hunting. I leave for western Maryland this Thursday after work and will be there until Sunday morning. I will be hunting Friday and Saturday mornings. Wish me luck http://tinypic.com/4ifn75 http://tinypic.com/4ifndj http://tinypic.com/4ifnlf
coltchris
Is your receiver drilled and tapped for a Weaver style base? If so, did it come that way or did you have it tapped? Mine is not drilled and tapped!
bigdave442
It was drilled and taps from Benelli when I bought it. I got it new a few weeks ago. It is a weaver style base. [ 04-17-2005, 07:56 AM: Message edited by: bigdave442 ]
