Lost my pups 11 months ago yesterday. She died of cancer at 6. Not ashamed to say I haven't been the same since. It seems silly to grieve for a dog when there are so many other more important things going on, but that's the way it is. Fantastic bird dog until the gun went off. So: not fantastic at all. Best companion you could hope to have. Smart, obedient, sweet natured, gentle, patient, tough, and energetic. Great with kids, other dogs, cats, and people. In other words: the opposite of me.
