NoTox
Just wondering if any of you guys have recommendations about what type of sling to put on my SBEII. I hunt in a lot of flooded timber where I walk in 1-1.5 hours, so it needs to be comfortable. Any suggestions are appreciated.
benddg
I hunt exclusively in flooded timber in Arkansas. The last several years I feel like I've found the best sling. AA&E Neoprene sling. It has a little give and makes it very comfortable. I bought one for my Xtrema in timber to match the camo at Academy for about $15.00. Couldn't find one for my SBE II and had to special order, came with the swivel and it was $30.00 but worth every penny.
benddg
Tell you something else I've had on my guns for the last several years I like. A beartooth neoprene staock gaurd. On the SBE II it not only holds the 4 shells but covers the crazy looking chevrons.
NoTox
Is the sling that you are referring to the "shock absorber sling" on the aaeleathercraft website? It looks pretty good, but I don't see it in Max4HD, which is what my SBEII is. Not that it matters to the ducks.
benddg
NoTox; Thats the one. Have had several of these with good luck really comfortable. Had one on my old SBE used it hard and it lasted for 10 years, it was getting ragged.
Drundel
I like the Claw, but it doesn't fit on my SBE, but it does on the SBE2!
