The grunt Posted July 31, 2014 Share Posted July 31, 2014 I really like my AVA tactical light mount, the only problem I have with it is the sling can't be mounted perpendicular to the barrel. It is a single/double point convertible sling but I use the single point on another Magpul something or other attached to the top rail right behind my optic. The question isn't regarding the sling itself. He/She is looking for a QD with a longer, extended post to get the sling loop further away from the weapon so that it can be mounted without rotation limit and thereby be mounted perpendicular to the barrel... grunt, I've never seen an extended post QD mount. That certainly doesn't mean they don't exist.
