TeamGSD
Anyone have experience using The Freedom Fighter Tactical Trigger package or a geissele hammer? I was only to only replace the hammer to finish making it 922r complaint. I was looking at Geissele but they are sold out everywhere and backordered. I saw the FFT Trigger package will take off 2lbs from trigger pull. Input would be great appreciated. Please help!!!
BLACK
Thats a great question. Geissele is top quality, you can't go wrong there if you can get one. I'm sure someone will be along shortly about FFT.
M2_shootr
The FFT hammer works well.......I installed it in mine when I first did the 922r. after seeing a bit of wear on the hammer I put a Geissele on order and replaced when it arrived. 12508
Had a geissele and hated the extra heavy pull it created. I installed the FFT and the pull is much better. Not quite factory though. I am watching the wear. I hope I gets to a point and then stops.
M2_shootr
The Geissele did create a slightly heavier pull, but a crisper break....works for me!

BLACK
Like many firearms-related parts these days: its not what you want, its what you can get.

M2_shootr
Then install the FFT and replace it later when the finish goes to shiOt
TeamGSD
Then install the FFT and replace it later when the finish goes to shiOt So should I buy the trigger package or what from FFT?
StrangerDanger
You'll be served well by either hammer. If I have the choice though, I opt for the Geissele hammer due to it showing less wear than the FFT or OEM hammers in my small test samples. M2_shootr
The trigger package is good for the parts count....... the FFT is a good trigger, they may have improved the process since I tried it. they have good CS.....give it a try.
