Oysterboy Posted January 2, 2018 Share Posted January 2, 2018 I got a new Benelli Montefeltro for XMas. Took it out to the range this weekend and found that I could not load a shell into the magazine. The shell does not go completely into the magazine tube and the carrier latch does not flip down into position so obviously, I could only shoot one shell at a time. I could load 1 in the chamber and it does lock up perfectly and fire, but only 1 shell at a time. I took the plug out of the magazine, that did nothing. I can push the follower into the mag tube with my finger so I'm not sure there is something blocking it but boy that is a stiff spring. There may be a lip where the receiver and the mag tube meet that is keeping me from inserting the shell into the magazine that needs some machining. Has anyone else had this problem?
