Extended Crio potted choke tube

I bought a 20 ga ultra light and ordered an extended crio ported choke tube. When I installed the tube it seats short of the knurled shoulder. I would say about 1/8”. Is this normal? The threads and tube match the flush tubes and I just want to make sure this is normal.
