Scope For SBE II

Recommended Posts

I will soon be the proud owner of a left-handed SBE II. I want to put a scope on it (I prefer a variable) for both deer hunting (slugs) and turkey hunting. Any recommendations for such a scope, including bases and rings? Also, at some point I may be hunting pheasants, grouse, etc. Is there a scope setup that is easy to remove for this purpose, then put back on without losing zero?

Any good Leupold, Burris, Trijicon, or even Bushnell Elite will do.

I'd suggest something in the 1.5-4.5 variable range.

Use Leupold QR rings and Leupold bases for easy on/off with good zero retention.

You may also want to look at some of the newer red dots / green dots.

In fact, Truglo now has one on which you can adjust the dot color, intensity, and size.

It's a nice looking unit, and I would think it would be just about perfect for your situation.

Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.
