bwalker5839
those Choke tubes for my new SBE-II are marked "no steel" . Is that cause it's dangerous? Are those tubes also not to be used with other non-lead metals such as "hevi-shot"?
Matt D
The tubes marked "NO STEEL" are the ones that are too consticted for steel shot. That being full and mod - improved chokes. I would not shoot anything other than lead in those maked "NO STEEL".

Husker13
I have a friend (really is a friend and not me) who hunted fall turkey with the factory full in his m2, was getting ready for spring turkey last night and realized that he hunted all duck and goose season with the factory full. That means that he shot steel through it throughout the season. He is guessing that it was around 6 to 8 boxes of #4's and BB's. Question is could this have harmed the barrel, and how could you tell. He is not so worried about the choke as he is the barrel. Any input?? [ 04-12-2006, 08:12 AM: Message edited by: Husker13 ]
