synthetic stocks

Assuming you mean the black synthetics...

 

When mine looks like it needs a little TLC, and water isn't doing it, I remove the stock and forearm from the weapon, clean them thoroughly with water and a mild detergent, and then use Hoppes Elite Gun Cleaner.

Apply enough to make the surfaces appear wet, then buff down with a clean dry cloth.

The Hoppes restores the depth and richness to the black finish.
