TonyG Posted February 11, 2005 Share Posted February 11, 2005 I recently purchased an M2 Field and am curious about the rib on my barrel (28"). The picture on the website shows a rib that has 7 spaces underneath it, and seems to be roughly parallel to the bore axis. My gun has a rib that has 6 spaces underneath it, and the rib seems to be at a noticeable downslope (front to back) relative to the bore axis, such that it looks like the gun is set up to shoot high.
