electric7 Posted December 7, 2020 Share Posted December 7, 2020 I noticed my barrel rotating slightly. Does the barrel extension just unscrew if I continue to twist the barrel? Steve Rose Posted December 8, 2020 Share Posted December 8, 2020 If loose the barrel extension can unscrew off the barrel. I've seen maybe 2 or 3 barrel extension get loose over many years. Take the extension off, clean/degrease both thread areas and apply some red Loctite to the threads before screwing it all back together. Joe A Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 We have had two extensions get loose on our M2s in the last two years during qualifying. We just reset them using rocksett as that is what they seem to have been fastened with before.
