How do you mount a Surefire L2 Flashlight on a M4?

Any 30mm scope rings will do the trick.

You can find all types of options on ebay ...

Here are two I have used:

ARMS clone, quick release, the best of the low end rings I would say ...

And for a high end, no messing around mount, use the larue offset flashlight mount.

As far as the rail it mouns on, you really only have one option at this time, and that is the sidearmor rail.

The yet to be released mesa tactical fcam is a full quad rail, which would allow you to mount a flashlight to one of the sides ... but it has yet to reach the retail production stage.

Hope this helps.
