alpha 33 Posted March 28, 2021 Share Posted March 28, 2021 I think the Benelli M4 is the first "US issued" combat shotgun since WW1, that was produced without a bayonet adapter. I wonder why the Marines chose not to add a bayonet adapter to the M4? It is also the first "US issued" combat shotgun that is not American made. Can you imagine the M4 with a bayonet?
