My local range only allows you to shoot bird shot at their steel. I got it from a shop that mainly caters to LE so I’m assuming it’s ok. It's close to 3" in length and it's like shooting a nitro express as far as recoil goes. Sailed through my never fired M4. Very nice ammo nickel plated high brass the 12 pellets make it longer than standard mil spec 8 pellet so i'm not sure if it would work in a 2 3/4" magazine fed shotgun I have a 5 round mag tube for now until my cc 8 rounder ships and i can only fit 4 rounds in the tube .Federal 2 3/4" I can fit the full 5.
