CAUCAJUN
JUST GOT MY FIRST SUPER BLACK EAGLE 2...JUST SHOT IT THIS MORNING FOR THE FIRST TIME...TWO GREEN WING IN ONE SHOT...THREE BLUE WING AND A WHISTLING DUCK... (CHINESE OR MEXICAN...?) AND SIX COOT...FYI NOW TO THE QUESTION/STATEMENT... I NOTICE THE GUN HAS SHARP EDGES ON THE PLASTIC GRIP, WHERE IT CONNECTS TO THE BOTTOM REAR OF THE RECEIVER, IMMEDIATELY BEHIND THE TRIGGER GUARD. DOES ANYONE ELSE NOTICE HOW SHARP THIS IS TO THE HAND...? I HAVE MOST EVERY OTHER BRANDS OF SHOTGUNS...NEVER NOTICED ANY SHARP EDGES ON SHOTGUNS BEFORE...(EXCEPT FOR AN ITHACA HOG SLAYER), HAVING A REALLY SHARP EDGE ON THE TOP OF THE REAR SIGHTS... I AM THINKING OF FILING THE SHARP EDGES DOWN, AN SPRAYING IT WITH AEROSOL EPOXY PRIMER AND TOUCH IT UP URETHANE PAINT... ANYONE DEALT WITH THIS PROBLEM...? IT HAS THE BOTTOM LAND CAMO . cas
Are you sure it's not the corners of the plastic stock shim? I know they're a bit proud on a few of mine. If so that would be a real simple fix.
