Lanark Posted December 20, 2022 Share Posted December 20, 2022 I just picked up an used R1 in 30-06. It look kind of short so I measure the barrel and is only 20 inch. The front sight mounting screws is in the right place so the barrel wasn't cut down. New Benelli only comes in 22 or 24 inch barrel. Planetcat Posted December 21, 2022 Share Posted December 21, 2022 I have the 20” and 22” barrels for my 15 year old R1. They are both very accurate! I’ve successfully gotten quite a few hogs and deer with the 20”. If you go to the benelli website and shop, they have 20” barrels for the .30-06 and .300 win mag for sale.
